Domino is an 8 yr old Belgium Warm Blood stallion (Darco-Happy Wind-Fantastique) and this year he has stepped up to the 1.50m division at WEF, which is a lot for young horse.
We decided to test Kompeet on Domino due to his lack of energy and stamina in the FL weather 6 weeks ago.
Since he has been on Kompeet his energy levels and stamina have increased immensely, he is now still strong and full of energy when returning for the Jump Off.
His body has become bigger and stronger, even after competing at the WEF for so many weeks, Kompeet have really made a difference!

I started Glen Skara’s Toronto on Kompeet after being introduced to the new natural product from Innordic USA. Coincidentally my Vet, DWM Richard Wheeler from Palm Beach Equine Clinic had also left a message on my board recommending the new product “Kompeet” for Toronto.
The physical results from using Kompeet talks for themselves, Toronto’s coat is shinier and he has increased his muscle tone and stamina and he seems more concentrated in the daily work.

Pebbly Aga Khan has a colourful personality,and can be rather lively at competitions. I was told Kompeet would make a significant difference in 3 days, and I did not believe it, but I must admit I did.  I tried it first on a 6 year old, and my first words after riding the horse was " it feels different " the horse felt more cooperative and smooth. I was skeptical upon the presentation of Kompeet, I was informed it would benefit all my dressage horses, young and old. Strength and stamina was significant improved after 4-5 days on Kompeet, even our lightly hot headed horses was improving and became less tempered, and more willing to work.It has been a positive experience all together, to see the development of the muscles, combined with added performance and stamina.

I have owned Diddy for 5 years now and have always planned to showjump, however most of the time diddy had other ideas! John suggested we give him Kompeet, as Diddy is a very lazy horse and would often have me working harder then him. I have tried many other feeds in the past to give him more energy, fast and slow high energy release cubes, oats, horse hage, and most of these made him more spooky, nappy and sharp. So I was not convinced, and I am not a lady who parts with her hard earned cash easily. Any way I brought A tub.

I call it Prozac for horses, because I can now put a lot of pressure on diddy during schooling sessions or jumping and he takes it without argument or tantrums. I found this quite a shock at first and really pushed sometimes for a argument and never got one ! It gives him the extra energy and enthusiasm for his work which I was after without him being spooky or nappy. He eats it quite happy because it just dissolves away with water in his feed. People who have not seen him for a while are very impressed how well he looks, even now going into winter, he looks really well.

I am now on my third tub, so that must say something and for the first time in 5 years I have achieved things I would never have thought possible. For that alone I am grateful.

I tend to prefer a sharp horse but it is often difficult to keep condition on them without making them to hot to ride, I was worried about trying Kompeet but the results have been excellent. I now feed a fibre based diet plus Kompeet, it works out cheaper then the cereal based diet they were on before and the results are fantastic. The horses have put on condition and muscle, have more stamina and are more settled to ride. After consulting my vet I also started using it on a horse that had been prone to tying up and the results were amazing, I have had no problems with the horse since putting her on Kompeet 4 months ago, that is the longest she has ever gone without tying up. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Bailey is a fantastic little horse who loves to gallop and jump but maintaining his energy levels for eventing as the season progresses can be a challenge.  After a drop in his condition and performance over the summer, I decided to try him on Kompeet to give him an extra boost.  Kompeet utilises fat as a concentrated energy source allowing me to increase his energy intake without the risks associated with increasing the starch content of his diet. I have been really pleased with the results; he is gaining condition, jumping well round small BS tracks and has actually had his hard feed levels reduced.  Hopefully I have found the solution to our energy problem and we are back on course for our first CCI* next year.
